Would I use it as my main compressor? Of course not.
Would I use it as an emergency backup if anything happens to my main compressor to have some limited painting capability? Quite possibly. I know what I will be using this summer to touch up my front yard fence.
Would I recommend it to someone who is just starting in the hobby and doesn't want to invest until they know they like it? Sure. $30 down the drain is better than $100 and you can certainly paint up an HG with it.
