Goddamnit, I've been looking through the unreleased toys section of TFwiki and there's just so much interesting stuff in here, from all the Animated prototypes to motherfucking G1 Unicron. This made me wonder, how can it be Hasbro is always reissuing the same old Diaclone-based molds but has never given any thought to the idea of putting out some of these unreleased figures? They still appear to have a couple of nearly complete prototypes around, so, even if the original molds are lost, they could still hard-copy them, right?
Just imagine pic related, being sold in a mint G1-styled box, for all of us vintage completionist faggots. Hell, if selling such a niche product on retail were to be a problem then they could just make an exclusive online release limited to 1000 - 2000 pieces or else, Hasbro would certainly make at the very least some profit back with that.
