>>8049279The best modern update to Soundwave is hands down the TF Prime version. Making him an unmanned spy drone was perfect, and the way they incorporated Laserbeak into his design was just icing on the cake.
I also liked that his robot mode was way more menacing. The fact that he only spoke in recorded audio only made him creepier.
I love classic Soundwave, but TF Prime is one of the few bits of media that gave him the respect he deserves. It’s just too bad we never got a better figure of him.
