They still believe they can produce Series 2 on their own without KS money, but they've been burning through the KS money like crazy and these figures are coming in underpriced for the KS Backers. So I won't be surprised to see Series 2 get a KS in the future. Of course that also means it might not make it to the market until 2017/18 right now when they showed it off in 2014.
