>>10821744You only get about three hours after a figure is put up for pre-order before it gets sold out. Even if you do get an order in there’s no guarantee it won’t get cancelled or delayed until the end of time.
Some dude will tell you to go to some sketchy literally who toy website and wait in their preorder queue but honestly it’s safer to wait until you see one on ebay. Just an aside, but never had this issue with any other toy company.
Maybe some people have fun hunting for this stuff, enjoy the emotional rollercoaster of having to buy the same thing from multiple places until one of them actually gets the item in stock and ships it. I’ve always resented every toy I’ve had to find this way, when I open the box it always feels like, “Well, it’s finally fucking over” not “Oh wow this is a really cool toy.”
