Many people have been expressing interest in the upcoming Ceratopsian series and with that interest understandably comes plenty of questions. And while there are some questions that I can't answer just yet (such as pricing and launch date) below is the most up-to-date information on the next Kickstarter campaign. As many of you may remember, I had initially planned for a 2018 launch for the first Ceratopsian Kickstarter, however due to the time involved with overseeing production and fulfillment of the Raptor Series, I had to push the launch back to next year. There's a chance I could launch later this year, but I wouldn't be as prepared as I'd prefer and I think waiting until next year will greatly benefit everyone. So without further delay, here are the most current details on the Beasts of the Mesozoic: Ceratopsians Series 1!
-Estimated for a Spring 2019 launch
-The line will focus on 1/18th scale Centrosauruines as well as some 1/6th scale Protoceratopsians
-Campaign will begin with: Xenoceratops foremostensis , Pachyrhinosaurus lakustai , Centrosaurus apertus, Zuniceratops christopheri, and Styracosaurus albertensis,
-First three unlockables: Diabloceratops eatoni, Psittacosaurus mongoliensis, and Protoceratops andrewsi
-Package art will be done by Carlo Arellano and Jacqueline Jocson
-Price range is to-be-determined, but will be comparable to the Raptors series
-Due to the size and variety of the figures, bases will be omitted to help keep prices down
-27 planned species total- 22 will be unlockable stretch goals
-there will be no build-your-own sets, babies, or accessory packs for this campaign, but may be possibilities for later
-One 'bonus' item stretch goal- 'Velcoiraptor vs.Protoceratops' 2-pack
-Kickstarter exclusive will be 'Monoclonius crassus' (juvenile Centrosaurus) color homage to the Tyco Dino Riders toy
