If the figures become a pain in the ass to collect, or, even worse, an unwanted source of stress, then I will either make customs, plug holes with vintage/classics/super7 etc., or just walk away and be happy with what I've got.
For whatever reason, Mattel seems to enjoy kicking sand in the faces of motu fans; don't do it, anons - don't take the bait. It's not worth the frustration.
You can't positively reinforce negative behavior and expect it to change. My vintage Grizzlor is looking pretty fucking cool to me right now. Thanks for saving me some money, Mattel - you jack-asses!
