Tbh I always seen it as a really flimsy tank, unlike tiger(s) that tanked hits and made it back most of the time by themselves, so if I ever do a panther and decide to do battle damage I would put a ding on the upper part of the mantlet at best or maybe the wheels. But that's me of course and its your model after all so up to you.
