>>8599604There aren't too many modern lines that comes to mind outside of Neca's Alien and Predator figures, and the occasional Marvel Legends. I knoe they're 7 inchers, but they still scale well as monsters.
For older lines there's Masters of the Universe Classics, but a lot of those can get really pricy.
I seem to remember the old DC line having some fun Lantern characters. Don't know how much they go for now.
If you're willing to go smaller, Star Wars 3 3/4 inch figures probably have the best variety, and while there are a lot of figures that go for $10s to over $100 of their original MSRP, there are still plenty to be had for a fair price.
Around 5 inches, you can try the Playmates Star Trek line.
