Yeah, but it was mainly things that weren't really available anymore. I was a bit too young for the first Season of Mighty Morphin Power rangers, but I was obsessed with the Dragonzord as a toddler onward. I would keep asking for it every christmas until like 98 or so and of course never got it since there really was no secondary market for normal people back then. My sister used to get me to do chores by promising me a dragonzord and I fell for it every damn time.
When Toonami became a thing I really wanted toys of the VF-1 from Robotech, Voltron(this was right before the 90's relaunch). Thundercats, Space ghost, etc.
Now I have like 7 VF-1 toys from Yamato/Arcadia, a Mezco space Ghost, a Chogokin Voltron, and a bunch of different DragonZords. Still no Thundercats figures, though(none of them look good enough). Still wish I had a VF-1 toy as a kid, though.
