Currently there's nowhere near as strong enough of a precedent for full custom Figuarts releases as their is for something like 3rd party Transformers.
Dragon Ball is changing that, between stuff like the custom SS3 heads or Ultra Instinct, and the Super Saiyan Blue recolors, custom Figuarts are becoming more common.
I know in the past there were only super expensive low production run releases for the Sentai and Rider stuff.
If Ginyu is super successful and doesn't end up like Dragon Momoko, we may see a big surge of 3rd Party Figuart scale toys for not only Dragon Ball, but other franchises.
