Once again, if you want to bring figures modified with turd parties into the equation, compare the official CW Bruticus to this old cheap Energon model with two extra robots and some extra limb parts, and you can easily see how fundamentally flawed the aesthetics of Combiner Wars are in comparison. Rudimentar-looking limbs are bound to result in rudimentar-looking robots, that's not exactly something hard to figure out, and it's not like the two FansProject robots were ultra-complex designs way beyond the design capacity of a normal Deluxe.
