>>6282031>>6282049Gonna second the Rapidstrike. Looks awesome and feels great in-hand! Plus you get all those rails for options. Been having a blast shooting it everyday.
I was also wishing it used AA batteries, but I was able to buy a 12-pack of C batteries off Amazon for just $8. It's gone up to $11 now, but that's still pretty darn cheap. I used the SIM Supply seller here:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00GNNCXB2These batteries are great, btw. I tested them out when they arrived (only took two-days, so the seller is great too) and they make the fly-wheel motors really fly. The rev up speed and RPM was WAY higher than the Walmart generics I'd been using. There's also C-sized spacers that allow you to use AA batteries instead, so that's another option you could go for (though I don't know how effective it is).
I also think the Slingfire is a lot of fun because of the lever-action priming. There's a couple trick ways to prime the blaster (spinning it around your finger, one-handed priming etc.) which makes each shot feel fun and rewarding. Downside is that working the lever starts to make your hand/finger sore after a while. Would go nicely with your Doublestrike though, especially if you're gonna customize it!
