Many people see a random event occur after another event and immediately assume that they are related. You can find numerous graphs like this one that chart suspiciously similar paths for incredibly unrelated sets of data. Sometimes a coincidence is just a coincidence.
You can throw any number of "but my cousin...but my brother...but I heard..." anecdotes at me, but none of them amounts to proof. I've provided a number of facts and statistics supported by reputable studies to back up my claims--if you want to argue the opposite, please do me the same courtesy.
