They found out after a year that while it seemed like a rerun of 1914-16 it was more like a repeat of 1950-51, at least up until the complete failure of the spring/summer "counteroffensive". It's uncharted territory at this point but in the long run the outcome is as inevitable as that of the American Civil War, barring more players actively joining the game.
Light, fast and overgunned vehicles are great though, LRDG trucks crammed with gas and guns remain one of the icons of the North Africa campaigns. This one was shamelessly stolen from BrickMania, the only real differences being the machine guns used and the three nondescript soldiers packed with it.
