>>8773143Allow me to suggest what I did recently: if you don't expect to sell them, throw out all the plastic inserts and flatten the boxes. It's much easier to store a pile of flat cardboard without it taking over your life.
Put any accessories in plastic zipper bags and store those in tubs where you can more easily get to them. Even if you decide to sell them later, you can include the box, but just cushion the figure inside and include the zipper bag in there too.
I feel so much freer not having a closet full of empty figure boxes.
I'll add the caveat that I didn't break down the boxes for my SH Monsterarts, because I worry that if I were to move again, they'd be too fragile and pointy to carefully pack up without them.
