>>9583174I think it depends on why your collecting. If you just want certain characters slow and small waves can be discouraging but if you want to buy every release smaller waves make it easier to keep with it.
That said I think some of the frustration comes from the recycling. Of the current 42 numbered 10 are repaints/redcos and of the ten new figures shown 4 of them are repaints/redcos. If the waves churned out like Legends or other Hasbro lines I think most wouldn't even blink but the snail pace of getting new waves and it's just changes to figures already owned makes the double dipping more contemptuous.
Oh yeah and the fact that so far that over 20% of all the figures out and coming out are exclusives doesn't help things.
