Why do toy companies make their most popular products so hard to get these days? What do they even get from making less stock and scalpers reselling it for ridiculous money? There should always be a good G1 Optimus Prime on the shelves in all toy stores, he's the most popular Transformer, yet if you want one you have to go through so many ridiculous hoops to get one and maybe settle for paying 4x the price. At least if you want a highly sought after LEGO set you can always go in their shop and just buy it
