>>6730915Before getting my airbrush (and currently on small detailing jobs) the Windsor and Newton improver with Vallejo Model Color, reasonably thinned with water works well.
It takes 3-4 very thin coats to get a decent finish but it really does manage brush marks nicely, pic related which is old, small scale and awful weathering (not the best example but most of my old stuff is long gone) is brush painted and the base coat is pretty brush mark free .
