>>6656237When NK retires *hopefully* this year, it's not gonna be replaced with classic castle, at least not right away. From a corporate perspective, they're gonna wanna try something completely new, and not something just "different".
>>6656261Dude that set was literally like $12. I get the little SHIELD craft was shit, but it was a pretty cheap set for a cool Carnage fig. We might get a classic Venom again soon though, there's definitely demand for that.
>>6656319YES. YES THEY ARE. I know there's an eventual goal to do away with Mystery Shops, because of how structured they cause every interaction to be, but until they figure out something else, they're here to stay.
For those of you who don't know what Mystery Shops are, basically, in order to gauge how employees are interacting with guests, they have an incredibly strict and lengthy list of stuff that has to be done with every guest that walks in the store, and twice a month, they apy someone to come in and make a purchase, while keeping close tabs on everything. Showing off play opportunities, suggesting items, asking questions, and you're expected to do this with everyone. Unless you've worked for a while, it's really hard to catch Mystery Shoppers unless you start really talking to them a ton, which is hard when you have 40+ customers in the store.
>>6656325They do this with advanced sets already. The set from your pic (The Spider Cycle Chase) is intended for younger builders where even if they did highlight the parts, it would still be difficult for a 6 year old to do without bright colors. Trust me, I've built with 6 year olds. And in this case, it doesn't have any effect on the finished model, since it is green after all the plates have been placed.
>>6656384Tax is on the $4.99, which I can't have taken off with my VIP card because (at the time) VIP cards could only take off $5 amounts exactly. Now VIP Cards use Black Magic and can take off any amount, and the appropriate amount of VIP Points.
