Honestly I don't even like the animated look that much, but I'd kill for a good Soundwave. There's alot of neat designs in there that deserve something better. Hell a second good Lugnut of any variety would be fantastic.

Japanese "Headmasters" is pretty bad, but Masterforce is generally considered a really good TF show.

They probably had an idea for the toy that there was no time for. Just like how the Animated Constructicons never got toys because they were supposed to combine into Devastator in Season 4.

My guess would be that Brains was supposed to transform into a head, but they couldn't fit it into the movie so he got scrapped.
