It's more apparent with Marvel for some reason, but like i said, the first shitstorms of /toy/ were between NGE figures. See also the NECA threads, where every single NECA memes (literally) today started because Alien figures were getting licensed by Japanese companies. Before that happened, the NECA threads were actually drama free.
