>>7230560Looking at the original blurry photo more, these could be the same figure. The positive is that Mattel's choice of green looks excellent in person, even with the beige underbelly. The negative is we're still stuck with ugly brown splotches instead of dark green stripes. Hopefully this will be changed before the final product hits shelves like the Sinoceratops.
If proper stripes were never an option, I'd have almost preferred they use the same pattern from the brown Rex and just changed the colors themselves to greens.
The app icons are curious, though. The original was green with brown even though none of the Rexes thus far were green at all. The new icons feature a sandier-looking Rex and a buck that looks to have dark green -- not brown --
splotches. Which is which? Crossing fingers we'll get a more consistent look as time goes by.
