I'm calling that done. The 57 is the only decal that didn't immediately disintegrate and I'm not about to try and mask out of my own red stars. I don't care to work on this thing any further so not even gonna bother with any weathering. All things considered it doesn't look THAT bad. Granted, some of it's shittiness is due to my own fuckups, but I did what I could with the knowledge I have (at least until I decided to just finish it and stopped giving a shit).
I think someone with more skills and patience than I could make a really nice looking plane from this kit, but in 2024 when there are several companies with a LaGG-3 offering this would be my last choice. Sometime in the future I think I'll pick up another one and do it properly, because as shit as they were I think these planes are really cool looking.
