Looks like someone who works for Disney Store got inspired by an old fan ooak little mermaid boat set. I've had the image at the top saved in my little mermaid doll folder for over two years now. It would seem that they copied the Sebastian on the side of the boat, and the three little green frogs on the row paddles. I've admired his ooak boat set since I first saw it years ago. Never thought I'd have my own version of it. They did ad the cool water at the bottom. The attached fish with water coming out of their mouths looks just like the effect from the ride. Looks like Disney Store really does keep an eye out on what fans are into.
