And yet somehow the best picture I ever managed to take (imo) was years ago before I even had any actual photo equipment. Just a smart phone, a table lamp and a black piece of foam for the backdrop

I got a pair of lights with gels, a light tent with backdrops and some acryllic platforms last year for christmas.

And the best picture I've ever taken was still done years ago with a fucking table lamp and some poster board from dollar tree.

Don't underestimate the power of a phone camera.

Turn off the flash and try to find some better lighting and you'd be fine.
