The Venator had some of the shittiest design of any of the big star wars ships. It was built up around pretty sturdy technic skeleton with a handle built in, but there was a horrible design flaw in the back of it. The place where it attaches to the bottom plate in the middle is attached by only 12 studs. The back is even worse. The entire back wall is held to the bottom plate by only 8 studs. This means most of the weight of the bottom plate was held up by only 20 studs. Contributing to this is that the frame did not apply only a tensile force to the attachment, but also a torgue along the narrow axis of the connection. Because of the weak connection the entire bottom of the ship is always separating from the ship if you hold it by the handle. I came to hate this thing because I was constantly having to press it back together.
