>>8651746>>8653059I liked the regular Knights and History themes sprinkled with fantasy stuff here and there and I have conflicted feeling about Novelmore, especially seeing it appears to have been pretty succesful among kids and we haven't seem major releases of regular knights in a couple years. I wish we can keep getting both regular historical and fantasy knights.
Not a fan of the Novelmore faction itself with their blue color, gearwheel insignia, oversized weapons and geometry of their playsets. It's a bit limiting: they can only be Novelmore knights. I like the Burnham raiders better. They have a few of the Novelmore traits, but imo their fire theme is less jarring and they mix great as piromancers within the various iterations of dragon knights.
The upcoming skeleton faction is very interesting, but I find their main set underwhelming, and the troop builders are going to be sold in expensive skull-shaped blind boxes.
The mage faction doesn't look particularly interesting to me, but I'll have to wait and see better quality pictures.
I think both the skeleton and mage factions have potential. Maybe for the 2022 releases. The Novelmore line in general feels a bit overpriced, though.
Right now I'm way more excited for the Everdreamerz witch wagon
