As a new frontier American comics were the perfect subject for the company but when they go back to Japanese properties that superhero restriction isn't really there. What do you even mean by Japanese superheroes, who are considered capeshit? Tatsunoko heroes sure, Kinnikuman why not. Devilman? What if he made Dante, or Kenshiro? Fighting game characters? He could make any number of robots again, something many fans of his want.
Putting the superhero theme restriction for the Japanese titles is pointless. They have to pick characters that's popular anyways and narrowing that selection for some dumb overall theme serves no purpose. Maybe if the Amecomi name still existed it could be like that, but now it'll be a line of what we want Yamaguchi to make, as it has always been before.
