I'd have gone
>2016 ends pretty much the same way but Makuta comes back, the capital returns and a door to the shadow realm emerges above the city
>Toa and Ekimu flung somewhere by a blast
>Find some dumbfuck villager called Takua
>Toa+Ekimu+Takua go back to the mask maker's city and enter doors ala Ekimu and reach their final form
>Ekimu makes a Mask of Light and gives it to Takua
>Region of Shadow emerges around the Capital, Region of Light emerges around the Mask Maker's City
>Toa go find some shit (probably masks) guarded by shadowy small sets in wave 1 and come back, Takua does some shit (Temple of Time maybe)
>Takua puts on Mask and becomes Toa in wave 2 and goes with Toa back to Capital, they fight summer villians and then Makuta
>Ends same way as Journey to One with Takua+Toa beating Makuta, Toa sealing Makuta and hole to the shadow realm and going back to space and Takua becoming villager again, blah blah this is the legend of the Bionicle
