>>7245259Because you're new to Gunpla, I'll stop you before you ask: the Mega Size is cheaper than the Perfect Grade because despite its large size, it's actually a simple kit with basic articulation. The Perfect Grade has all kinds of gimmicks and full joints and shit that make it more expensive.
And yeah, like the others have been saying, the Mega Size is the only one that will really support your lamp idea. Even the PG head may be a little too small, and besides, the PG internals are stuffed full of...stuff. Here is a person next to a Mega Size for a sense of scale.
And lastly, I'd use an LED bulb or something similar if I were you, if you use a bulb that gets really hot I don't know what it might do to the plastic over time.
