I almost forgot about yet another weird subline they rolled out in their dying days: ROHO, Robots of the Home & Office. This was actually a cool looking release that a lot of people wanted, but they only made 50 of them and then never released this updated Bertie mold or used this subline again. Again, shooting themselves in the foot.
Around that time, there were also rumblings on the forums that a lot of those late-game colorways seemed lazy and underweathered, like the primarily white and orange Civic defense. I kind of liked them actually, but not enough to buy em.
And then we get to the mistake of 3AGO. Making Mego-scale figures was one thing, but when they started to make bots in that scale too, I knew shit was getting bad. People didn't want to buy super expensive robots in THREE different scales at once, it was madness.
I can talk all day about this shit, I was a huge ThreeA fan and find their downfall fascinating.
