And even if your precious black shoulders might blend in better, they look awkward as hell with his arms dangling off of those pencil joints sticking out of his torso. Also, the feet on the original suck because only the toes are jointed so you can't make them sit flat in wide stances. And the knees wouldn't even go to 90 degrees. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
