I think the only problem with anons is that it's just a little too bold and thick, it's stand out just a bit too much.(but I think the execution was done very well) However the shaky cam pic wouldnt help kek. I think it would look 10x better with a nice, clear, steady, and hq pic.
I do agree with you on the colour not being the best choice, but thats just a personal preference. I think it would have looked better with either a lighter or darker shade. But once again, a better pic could probably sell me on it.
