Thing with ultra magnus is he was part of the shift in aesthetically changes for mp's, hasui wanted him to gattai with a white mp10, but design priorities were given to kobayashi so it could carry mp cars, in the end truck mode got the attention, shafting the robot mode, and with all of his bulk I would imagine another 3p take on him with be a spindly fiddly mess that would not be fun in anyway, he may not be able to do much with his bulk even with the faceplates (unlike pic related) but as a bot he's a solid sturdy thing, its hard to believe his body is comprised of trailer.
I say this as an owner of all mp cars bar tigertrack and all big bots except for dinobot, that also includes mp10 and mp01.

They would have to design this new prime with magnus in mind from the get go, not work the magnus into prime after the fact.
Engineering and designs are only improving, I'll cry the day they do proportionally accurate mp combiners and or mp city bots, of course my wallet would only reach as high as mp triple changers because cost are getting ridiculous
