RDs have a good solid feel to them that gives them, and because most of their parts are solid plastic they can have a decent weight to them for their size. I don't think you can really compare the quality of RDs to gunpla, because they're two different things. HGs and MGs are model kits and they're very good at that, while RDs are more like action figures and they're very good at that. RDs are ready to play with right out of the box and usually look pretty darn good while doing it, but with gunpla you can make something that looks way better if you're willing to put in the work.
Just two different ways of enjoying mecha. I'd definitely recommend picking up an RD if they've got you interested though, just to see if it's what you're looking for. Master Gundam is only like 30 bucks on Amazon, and you can pick up a Leo for even less.
>>5347031All the Geese are good RDs. Tallgeese II was a web exclusive though, and it goes for a hefty price on the secondary market. Tallgeese III was a regular retail release, but it's been out of production for a while and again, may be a bit pricey to get at this time. Mandarake is probably going to be your best option for finding either one.
