>>9771793listen i'm fine with supporting artists that are worthwhile or at least producing something that isn't hot garbage. the problem is all the people who think literally anything they shit out has value by default. i could probably make a doll if i tried, and it would be absolute trash -- i sure as hell wouldn't try to sell it. these people don't want to work through all the steps between "learning to do something" and "doing something well enough to earn money" and it's why there are so many absolutely god-awful """artist""" dolls on the market these days. i wish people would stop rewarding them, too -- there are actual artists out there worth supporting, and yet people pay money for bubbly home-cast resin with hairs in it instead of supporting someone who at least knows how to keep their fucking molds clean.
