We used to have fun, keep shit relatively safe, and only bother reporting when some jintroll or visiting b-tard got out of hand. We were largely ignored and self-policed for years.
Then moot cracked down on his public image and we got a bunch of banhappy janitors who proceeded to take the law into their own hands and delete anything they disagreed with, using the letter of the rules to impose their own ideals to spite the spirit of the rules.
We used to have awesome wonfes threads, way better than /a/, until mods here started dropping the hammer on anything that resembled a statue. And anything even remotely bawdy was deleted because "it's a blue board," even if it wasn't remotely pornographic. Even threads discussing the inconsistent, seemingly vindictive deletions were themselves deleted almost immediately. The entire place became a shadow of its former self and a lot of us quit coming around as a result, people like HBG, Noodles, Planelegs, etc.
