I've been wanting a bare torso Maul since the very first Black Maul came out, and he's certainly a mixed bag. The lack of calf swivels is annoying, the arms are a notoceably different red than the paint of the torso, and he comes with one whole accessory, when the robed version came with a bunch, including an alt head, and boy, he's a short little fellow. I know Ray Park isn't the tallest, but this almost feels like a different scale. Oooo, fancy box, though.
All the same, I'm excited to have him, I like the updated articulation, especially the neck, and he's a lot of fun.
