I got a pin punch recently which I used to fix SS86 Prime's heels as well as the Bonecrusher misassembly, but didn't think to try it on the Insecticons. Not sure if it would work because it's a different type of pin, having a large flat end on one side. I might give it a shot now that I can just buy these new ones if I fuck them up. It's dumb that this is even an issue in the first place. All because Hasbro is incompetent when laying out their molds.
