It's an AU/sequel to the original series where all of the "Ultramen" are humanoids wearing armor. The protagonist is the son of Shin Hayata, the original Ultraman, and inherited some superpowers. No one's gone giant yet and it's closer in style and tone to Kamen Rider. It's apparently pretty popular since there are a ton of figures for them, including Figuarts, Sentinel, and now these kits.
