You just have to be discerning when buying and do a lot of research, because a lot of 3P fanboys will largely gloss over or ignore some pretty major problems with molds. I only own a handful of 3P toys, but they rate among my most favorite figures in my collection, so there's that.

The only time it triggers me is when I've been browsing threads at ThatFancyWebsite and have seen grown adults commenting that they hope their kids don't mind eating rice and beans for a week so they can afford MP-44 or whatever. Starve yourself for toys, but don't starve your damn kids.
