>>9990745Kinda tricky, I have the original and he's an awesome toy. I feel like to be properly in scale he'd have to be Commander, the original toy scales nicely and he's BIG, mostly due to the claws which are like a Deluxe each in mass alone. And that's before we get to the partscount; claws are fully poseable with loads of beefy ratchets, crab legs are balljointed at the base and knee, decent robot articulation, transformation engineering, wheels with rubber tracks, the geared cannon...
I'd want him to triple change as the tank mode actually looked good; it was definitely better than most TM vehicle modes, and a lot of those were fun to look at/play with. I'd be happy to remove the rubber tracks because whilst rolling tank tracks are objectively THE coolest gimmick, they'd be tough to implement properly and I don't trust modern Hasbro rubber even if the 1998 rubber is still going strong, and individual links are off the cards.
Whilst I love Rampage from a design perspective, I'd be happy if they shrank his claws a bit; the crab mode doesn't have to be 1:1 as long as it still looks good. Robot mode I'd actually love some Guido Guidi inspiration in. The tank mode again doesn't have to be identical, as long as it looks cool; I'd be OK with a heavy redesign as long as it's still a cohesive, mean looking tank made of crab parts.
His cannon should be big and triple barreled but I'd be happy having movement reduced to the barrel assembly manually spinning. No missiles or gears would be OK.
Finally whilst I'd 100% be OK with paying Commander price as he deserves it, I'd be OK with a Leader. If he was quality-wise on par with Kingdom BW Megatron I could forgive him being a bit small.
Also Shokaract redeco is mandatory as the original is not only super rare but apparently the chrome is mega fragile (ironic as my Rampage has only minor chipping on pegs).
