Hasbro's first wave (or four) were all of Toy Biz's left overs. In fact, they kept using the same sculptors as Toy Biz was using.
I know you're ignorant about what was going on, but they were not better sculpted or better made, especially the first few waves! They basically killed the line with their cheapassness.

You can complain about the barely visible mold lines, but those are exceedingly well done figures.
The sculpts are better than what you'd see from a Figma.

You can't criticise Japanese figures or it turns out like this thread did. See the time since Figma Robocop, or rather... since forever, because the Revoltech vs Figma threads were a joy to be had with the EVA girls. Fanboys really really really need to push their favorite toylines.
