And despite all the work shifting the centre of mass forwards it wants to be a tail sitter. Adding the prop (another hole that needed to be drilled) just about enables it to go node down, but the rocket pods will pull things back a bit again. And so a bit of lead will be fitted into the extra fuel tank (seen being scratch built on the left) and a little bit extra will be snuck into the cockpit wherever else I can fit it. (Your feet go as checked luggage even if you're the pilot, not carry-on, thankyouverymuch.) It seems there should be a centre line console for one thing, so that'll be a roughly cut chunk of lead.
