>>8328284>>8328401Yeah I can't say I'm surprised about this when I saw the news about MSD. Senmu's comments were all super positive, saying Kaiyodo will still be Kaiyodo. But Senmu seemed like such a loose cannon I can't believe most of what he says, let alone think someone is willing to throw money at him and say "go nuts."
What's funny is most of his tweets recently was about him cleaning out his vast personal collections of military kits....some not kits...
The Monozukuri Factory seems like a neat idea though, I do like the building that looks like a spaceship. Museums...I've been to one of the past exhibits and as traveling small exhibit I think it was great, but good god they sure opened one stunning museum...for just their own toys.
But big question, is this good news or bad news? I have no idea. Kaiyodo has been for better or worse a company stuck in the mentality of bunch of otakus gathering up around their favorite hobby shop showing off their latest creations. They clearly have the best sculptors so if this change in management can mean seeing more of their work in many avenues Senmu didn't want to do for whatever reasons, I'm okay with the change.
I can't tell how this will affect WF. In a way it's too big to change drastically without a big outcry.
