I wish I had my camera working but I found a pic that looks something like what I have. The muppet on the right was sold with 2 horns coming out it's head and when you squeezed his nose the horns tooted. It was so unusual even at my advanced age I had to have him - purple and all. I've never seen another one like it. I keep him on my shelf with my books.
I also have a small bunny whose arms and legs move just a little so it can be seated upright or look like its ready to hop. That one is pale gold/tan with white. Its over 20 years old. I bought it at a Kinko's (when it was Kinko's) copy center.
The 3 dogs I inherited from my mom took care of the other plushies I had. Couldn't keep much from them & they thoroughly enjoyed ripping the stuffing out of them. I kept putting the stuffing back in & sewing them up including doing replacement squeeker-ektimies - I became a gifted surgeon in my house let me tell you - but when the dogs passed on I gathered up all of the toys, washed them by hand, dried them in the sun so they'd smell good, and donated them to the local dog rescue center where they got new homes & 2nd lives.
