There are some figures teased that will likely never come out. We'll probably never get SSJ3 Vegeta, and if we get Porunga (I hope) it will be a 100% completely different mold from what we saw here.
I mean how long did it take for us to get SSJ4 Goku after they showed a prototype? I'm sure the new figure uses NOTHING from that prototype.
