>>11202618Lucky you, I'd love to have gotten one of these figures for $3. Cheapest blank body I've been able to get was at least $8ish, but the common ones usually hover around 10-15 each without accessories. Some of the rarer ones go for like 70-80 bucks though, which is just absurd.
I honestly try not to think about how much I spent on these little guys. There's just something about them that makes my brain just stop reasoning and go "I need that". I think it's the modular, customizable nature of the figures. The ability to a la carte build my own little team of customized adventurers is something I always love doing. Though with how many I have now, it's less of an Adventuring Party and more so a full blown Adventurer's Guild.
.....dammit, now I need to find a leader for this guild.
>>11202627I knew about the 1:18 LotR stuff, but I never even thought about using that troll for these guys. The figures themselves in that line a straight junk, but that troll would probably be a lot of fun. I'll have to keep an eye out to see if those figures every see deep discount. As cool as that Troll is, I ain't dropping $80 bucks on four junk figures just to build it. But thanks for the idea!
