Marvel is coming to a close. I don't know anyone who saw thor, or eternals, or shang chi, or will see black panther 2. They have spiderman but half their content is trash. The price hike made me stop buying spiderman figures. You have to understand hasbro doesn't decide on the figures, disney does and they only see toys as marketing material.
I am a huge power rangers fan, but yeah, hasbros obsession with "fan favorite" seasons made it intolerable. We have every in space ranger, but we don't have anything from samurai even though neo saban had the best suits.
Gi joe is motu classics. Its going online exclusive with 3 figures a year.
Fortnite is going on the downslope in its popularity. Hasbro got the brand way too late.
In all these brands retail production completely stopped. The only thing thats coming out is disney promotion. All the PR figs are on clearance which is the worst fate for the brand.
By comparison mcfarlane shows actual successful expansion with dc, spawn, warhammer (check amazon top 100) and failing with other stuff. Overall mcfarlane is in a growth phase. Jazzwares is doing excellent with pokemon and fortnite. Jazwares is a smaller company so only having like 3-4 succesful brands is great.
The only thing hasbro suceeded with is kid product and transformers. TF is gearing up for a new movie which might be huge.
